Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
I finished painting the wooden figures today. I am so pleased with how they turned out, especially since I have never been much of an artist. I think this is more of the Lord’s work than mine! I just sent an message to Birgit asking for pictures, because for whatever reason, I totally forgot to take pictures of them.
School was pretty good today. The kids seem to be enjoying themselves and the one thing that I just can’t seem to get straight is when they get out of school. All three kids get out of school at different time each day of the week and they are never the same as each other. Honestly, I feel like I never know when they are supposed to be home!
We did have a very funny experience this evening. Johannes invited us for a movie night and Jeff and I both just assumed it was for the kids. Anjali and David had no desire to go, so I stayed back with them while Jeff took Lucia downstairs to watch the movie. They literally walked in as someone committed suicide. This was definitely not a children’s movie, so they came right back upstairs. This would be one of those moments that got lost in translation!
