John 15:12-15 This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
Today we walked around town after school and work. This kids have been doing pretty well, though the girls seem to be the only ones really giving us a run for our money. David has been so consistent with his behavior it is amazing. Even though my girls give Jeff and I a lot of back talk and disrespect at times, it never ceases to amaze me how well they can play and be together and with other children. They also are incredibly respectful to other adults, just not to us; so I guess in the end I can call that a win.
Today I started cutting out wooden figures for Birgit to use in her Bible stories with the children. I have to cut out about 8 adult figures and about 6 child figures in total. So today was the first day using the jigsaw. All in all I have to say that I am pretty impressed at the work I am able to do with the jigsaw; I guess my wood shop class from 8th grade is paying off.
On a bit of a sour note, Jeff and I are both not feeling well. I think we both have a very bad cold. We tried to power through today for a church BBQ in the garden, but we retired to bed quite early to get some extra rest.
